Will McSeveney founded Skyline Records in 2022 with a clear vision: to create a home for innovative and distinct bluegrass music while supporting the next generation of artists. His passion for the genre was shaped by the bluegrass of the 1990s and 2000s, a sound that continues to inspire the label’s direction today.

Will’s journey began in 2012 when he formed the band North Country, where he spent five years touring and recording alongside Zach Top which was an experience that proved pivotal in his musical career. Since then, he has produced projects for North Country, Nick Dumas, and Dalton Harper, and has contributed as a songwriter, including co-writing “Afraid to Say Goodbye” and “Three Sheets to the Wind” with Zach Top. As a banjo player, Will continues to perform with both North Country and Branchline, and his deep love for bluegrass extends into service on the board of the Wenatchee Bluegrass Festival.

Outside of music, Will is an attorney, but his heart remains in bluegrass and dedicated to working closely with artists to bring original, authentic music to life. His ultimate goal is to continue releasing music that contributes to the growth and evolution of bluegrass for years to come.
