Harper's musical journey began in Bunker, Missouri, where he performed with his family group, The Harper Family. In 2019, he joined the Missouri band Cedar Hill, playing guitar and singing lead. He later formed a country band called Ridgeway Pass before signing a record deal with Skyline Records in 2022.
